Odum Udi is a dynamic and result-driven professional with proven experience in public sector administration and management gathered from years of active practice. Udi has nurtured the ability for problem-solving. He is bold, courageous, focused and exceptionally patient. A strategist and critical thinker with great tenacity and broad influence. He enjoys the goodwill of a vast number of his people and beyond.

During his days as Local Government Chairman, he was popular for the proactive measures he took when flood ravaged some communities in Rivers State and Abua Odual LGA.

On Wednesday 6th July 2022, Odum Udi was appointed as the Honourable Minister of State for the Federal Ministry of Environment by His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR.
